THE LBA CRIME FICTION COMPETITION

All you need is the first three chapters of your crime fiction novel, plus a detailed synopsis (no more than 1000 words).

How the winner will be selected?The winner will be selected by literary agent, Thomas Stofer, of LBA. Stofer has a number of years’ experience in the crime and thriller genre and also runs his own crime and thriller blog, Crime and Publishing, which has proven very popular within the industry. This competition may have multiple winners.
PrizeThe winner(s) will win a 2-3 page feedback report on their novel from Thomas Stofer at LBA.
RulesYour submission must be your own original work of crime fiction.

Your submission must include the first three (opening) chapters. Winning writers will be asked for a longer sample.

A synopsis must be included with each entry, not exceeding 1000 words.

All submissions (chapters and synopsis) must be double spaced, size 12, Ariel or Times New Roman font.

Whilst LBA are actively looking for new authors to represent, submission to the competition is no guarantee that you will gain representation.
