Marianne de Pierres / Delacourt is a multi-award winning Australian author who publishes novels in the science fiction, fantasy, crime and young adult genres. Her stories have been translated into other languages, adapted into a role-playing game and an animation. She has won an Aurealis Award for Best Science Fiction novel. She also writes crime novels as Marianne Delacourt. Her first Tara Sharp novel entitled Sharp Shooter won the Davitt award in 2012.
