Literary Licence finally published.

A great day, a grand day.

Well this is my work finally in print.
I went down the Lulu road. If you click on the widget you can buy my (sic) masterpiece manuscript.

I decided to self pub for a number of reasons.
a. after over a year of submissions I felt I had given it a good nudge.
b. I wanted to test the waters for a humorous novel, a trend setter not follower
c. I want to start to sell LL and get on with my new book.
d. I needed a big ego boost. (shallow but true)

another bite

I have been asked to submit some more of my ms Literary Licence after a query and the first ten pages.
fingers crossed. I won't hold my breath as I'd be liable to pass out.

it is a bit like fishing. But you have to know where to cast and what bait to use and there has to be a bit of luck along the way.

A FOOLISH ACT

I have done something a bit daring and foolish.
What you may ask?
I have given my manuscript, and that is the complete manuscript of Literary Licence to a friend to read.
she is intelligent, thoughtful, honest and not afraid of the budding author.
So I wait...

Well I have the manuscript back.
and the verdict was very good. lol or laugh out loud to the uninitiated.
She thought it was a jolly good romp and a great yarn. But best of all she ripped through it because SHE COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. So now I have to fix the few typos that lurk and it will be ready to submit to the Queensland Premiers Literary awards.
